Hiring the right therapist is half the cure
Interview the therapist before hiring.
I believe that as a consumer you have the right to ask any therapist, without charge, important questions about them so that you can find the best therapist for you.
Many of us have been taught not to ask questions especially of professionals but consider the idea that curiosity is healthy.
The interview is part of beginning good therapy because it is encouraging you to take an assertive role and make sure that the therapist is the best for you.
It is very important that the therapist treats you with respect and genuinely encourages your questions.
